When using a managed Shown ad account, your ad (media) budget will be paid through us via Shown credits. You can pay shown credits using your Credit Card or your PayPal account. Note that if you link your existing ad account to Shown, dd budget will be paid directly on the different ad platforms & you won't need Shown credits.
How do I add credits?
There are two options to add credits:
- One option is to top up your account from your dashboard by going to Billing - Credits.
- Another option is at the end of your campaign creation flow. If you don't have enough shown credits (= minimum 5*your daily budget), you will be asked to top up credits before publishing your ad campaign.
How do they work?
Once your ad is approved, each paid click earned by your ad account will automatically be paid using your credits. Our system will automatically top up your account with credits when you run low using your primary payment method.
What do I need to know about my budget?
- You'll need at least 5* your daily budget of Shown credits to publish a campaign.
- Pausing your ad campaign, especially due to insufficient credits, harms performance. Our system ensures your ad continues running until you decide otherwise.
- While most campaigns have consistent daily spending, some may vary due to fluctuating demand. Our system prevents spending from exceeding 30 times the daily budget in a month, though it can vary up to twice the daily budget. We optimize spending while controlling your budget.
- Campaigns run for 30 days from creation. Budget adjustments are proportionally allocated to the remaining days, allowing real-time adjustments to meet your objectives.
