Why is setting up your business important?
The initial setup of your business on Shown is critical. It serves as the building block for the platform's AI to comprehensively understand what your business stands for and its goals as well as gathering all relevant assets for your ad campaigns.
How do you set up a business perfectly?
When signing up or creating a new business, you will start by answering different questions and providing your website URL. It's important to answer these questions accurately because our AI will use the information. After this initial step, you should check if you are eligible for integrations, review your assets, and set up your ad tracking.
Integrations
If we detect one of our supported integrations, you will be notified. We highly recommend using integrations whenever possible, as this will automate the tracking step (see hereunder) and synchronize all relevant assets to create better-performing campaigns, including emails and product lists, for e-commerce.
Review media gallery
After creating your business, your media gallery will fill with different images (Note that this can take a few minutes). Shown will synchronise some images from your website, add other images related to your business, and even create AI-generated images and banners.
Review them, delete the ones you don't like & upload other assets that you'd like to see in your ad campaigns before starting your first ads.
Tracking & conversions
The last and most important step is setting up your tracking. Without tracking, Shown won't be able to optimize your ads for more sales or leads. Moreover, you won't be able to see what your ads are bringing you in terms of results. Therefore, we highly recommend you copy/paste our Shown pixel on your website to track your conversions.
