How do I add a payment method?

To add Shown credits to your account, you can use both credit cards and Paypal. Subscriptions can only be paid via credit cards.

To add a payment method, you need to:

1. Go to your Billing section inside your Shown account
2. Access the Payments page inside the Billing section
3. Click on '+add new'
4. Select 'Credit Card' or 'PayPal' depending on your needs

Please keep the following in mind:

• Only three payment methods can be added in 30 days, no matter if it's PayPal or credit card
• After a payment method is removed, the 'slot' it used requires 30 days to be useable again
• Removing and adding the same Credit Card / PayPal account will count as a new payment method
• The first payment option you'll add will become the default payment option. This is what our system will try charging first when funds are low
